Delete your account
You can delete your Maritime Burials account at any time.
In the app

Open the Maritime Burials app and sign in.
•
Go to the Account tab.
•
Tap Delete account at the bottom, then confirm.
On the website, the same option is at the bottom of your account page.
By email
Write to support@maritimeburials.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm within 7 days.
What's deleted
•
Your login (email and password)
•
Your name, phone number and profile photo
•
Notification settings for your phones
•
For captains: your access to the business account
What we keep
Records of past bookings, payments and store orders, and the messages in those conversations, are kept without your name for as long as the law requires (usually 7 years) so refunds, captain payouts and taxes can be handled. Payment card details are held by Stripe, not by us.
If you have an upcoming service booked, please write to us first so we can take care of the booking before deleting your account.
